We are excited to share an update on our recent fundraising campaign in support of women-led small businesses. With the generous support of our donors, we successfully raised $525, which has now been sent to our parent charity, Akhuwat Pakistan, to strengthen their interest-free loan fund.
These funds will be used to provide women entrepreneurs with access to capital without the burden of interest, enabling them to launch and grow small businesses, support their families, and contribute positively to their communities.
Akhuwat’s model focuses on dignity, solidarity, and empowerment, ensuring that every dollar raised is a step toward sustainable livelihoods and financial independence for women who would otherwise be excluded from traditional financial systems.
Your contributions are helping us create real impact: from women starting home-based businesses to those expanding small shops and services, each loan is a seed of hope that grows into opportunity.
