The tailoring and the computer courses are proceeding successfully and all the participants are really enthusiastic about what they are learning! The girls who are attending the tailoring course have been commissioned to make some Christmas items, such as bags, in order to get them used at being independent and working autonomously.
Two weeks ago our local referent visited two girls who recently completed the tailoring course. Both of them were given a sewing machine, with the purpose of helping them start their own activity. The feedback of our referent was totally positive and fulfilling: the girls started to work at home and they are now producing and selling their pieces of clothing. We were also very happy to know from them that they are willing to pay back the sewing machine and that they are determined to reach this goal.
We are really satisfied about how this project is going on, since all the participants of the courses always show their engagement. Recently, we planned our next follow-up trip, which is going to take place next January.
We are deeply grateful to all of you for believing in our project and for your fundamental support, without whom this would not be possible!
