Threads of Hope Program is a vital community initiative aimed at assisting individuals on their journey to reenter the workforce. Threads of Hope is a public store with professional attire and essential accessories and a workforce program offering comprehensive services, including job skills training, interview preparation, community workshops, and life skills training. This program is integral to our community, especially for those facing adversity when reentering the workforce.
Low-income and disadvantaged workers in Shasta, Tehama, Trinity, and Siskiyou Counties often lack the attire to attend potential work interviews. Also, after being hired, they lack the appropriate work attire and life skills necessary to retain their job.
The expected outcomes of the Threads of Hope Program are as follows: Increased employability and job placement rates among program participants. Increase of job related skills and life skills for participants that leads to longer job retention and opportunities for promotion. Improved self-confidence and self-sufficiency for individuals transitioning into the workforce. Positive community impact by reducing unemployment and increasing economic self-reliance.
By providing this financial support, you will contribute to the Threads of Hope Program's resilience and effectiveness, ensuring that we can continue to provide essential services to our community and ultimately reach our long-term sustainability objectives. This will help to empower low-income and disadvantaged community members to compete for and obtain employment. Threads of Hope is also supportive of homeless shelters in Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, Trinity, and Butte counties.
