TRULY, I am becoming a MILLIONAIRE........NOT in terms of money I will amass BUT by the MILLIONS of LIVES I am about to IMPACT!
Even before receiving any grant from GlobalGiving for the past three months since I post my project on GlobalGiving, I am already see AMAZING outcome from my water filter business, even though at a small scale. I am so glad that the results are so exciting, particularly on social impact. I have uploaded a video on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMbjKyDdHEU). This is about a lady in my home town (Mrs. Catherine) giving her testimony on how the filter IMPACTED her life (consider her photo below). She was suffering from chronic Typhoid that was recurring after every three weeks and she was spending Tsh.18,000 (~$9) to treat every time she becomes sick. Beside the physical pain due to Typhoid disease, there are other loses, including the time she lost when sick and the people who took care of her.
I am glad that my water filter has solved this challenge “for good” because since I installed her filter in May 2015 she did not become sick again – she is so grateful!
Through GlobalGiving grant for establishing water stations I will reach thousands of people like Catherine and this will be my “first big life time opportunities” together with my SPONSORS/DONORS through GlobalGiving to make an IMPACT in many people’s lives.
