It was so exciting to visit our beneficiaries in Gongali Village, Tanzania. The village is closer to Tourists Attractions (Ngorongoro Crater) and accessible to the tourists heading to the vast Serengeti National Park.
We are so grateful to the Korean sponsors for this project of distributing filters to the under-served communities in Gongali Village. The filters were generously donated by several companies in Korea: Scientists and Engineers Without Borders (SEWB), PHILOS/Wellspring, Nitto, and iTEC. The implementation at the local level was done by Gongali Model Co.Ltd and TAHUDE Foundation.
As you can witness in this video (https://youtu.be/RS0wJ2DTiQE) all beneficiaries were so happy and gave their testimonies cheerfully and with great satisfaction.
Those Korean sponsors also donated filters to Zaburi village in Makuyuni (a Masai Village) and in Babati, Manyara region. We are so grateful to all those sponsors and promise to maintain the filter by regularly servicing them to attain the intended benefit to the targeted communities.
THANKS again and again for supporting our Nanofilter project since 2013. Through your generous support we have already reached about 400,000 beneficiaries (by 2023) and anticipate to scale-up our IMPACT TO MORE PEOPLE’s LIVES - because we have gained a solid experience, with time.
THANKS ONCE MORE
Askwar Hilonga – Director of TAHUDE Foundation
