THANKS for your relentless support for our intervention in Arusha where we are making impact to more than 300,000 people and have created employment to more than 100 people, mostly women entrepreneurs. In Arusha we have a well-established office and have network of supporters from number of countries; and the Tanzania government. After an impressive achievement in Arusha region, of which the government reports the reduction of waterborne diseases by 42.9% due to Nanofilter, now we are expanding to Mwanza region. The communities in Mwanza depend on water from Lake Victoria which is contaminated with microorganisms causing Schistosomiasis, also known as bilharzia. This is a disease caused by parasitic worms. Also in Lake Victoria there are heavy metals like Lead (Pb) due to human activities in the lake (ship transportation, fishing, etc). All those challenges can be solved by Nanofilter water purification system. Thus, we are determined to establish 500 water stations in Mwanza region. Your donation ($1,000) will help build a water station (kiosk) that will serve 100 families. You may even contribute part of this cost (for example 10 donors may contribute $100 each; that’s another kiosk). For more information please kindly contact the inventor of Nanofilter, Prof. HILONGA: hilonga@gmail.com; WhatsApp +255787303091
