This quarter we are so privileged to report good news that we have started our new branch in Mwanza, Tanzania. This is through your generous support that rooted us in Arusha – which attracted a major support that is now coming from the Blue Future Project, Germany. We have a plan of establishing 500 stations in Mwanza – but this will take time; of course depending on the turn-out of the donors like you.
In proceeding months I promise to give you a step by step progress of this expansion in Mwanza. This is a region along the famous and the largest lake on earth called Lake Victoria.
As of now, I report 34 stations that are started. The local people here are enthusiastic about our project and the difference we make in people’s lives like this lady who got her station closer to the lake shore (just about 2 meters from the shore). We welcome your ideas and comments on how we can make this project a great success. Our main intention is to provide clean and safe water to millions of people as we also create job opportunities for the local entrepreneurs, particularly women and youth.
By contributing via this GlobalGiving platform you are already making a big positive impact to our community. We will update you from time to time.
