Nanofilter is transferred from Tanzania to Zambia

THANKS to all our previous and new partners, we are now expanding the impact of Nanofilter innovation from Tanzania to Zambia. This project is generously supported by the Southern Africa Innovation Support (SAIS), Urban–Hedley Family Trust, U.S.A, and the government of Tanzania through the Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH) and the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST); along with the private partners: Gongali Model Co.Ltd of Tanzania and Spot Agro of Zambia.

The most important contribution (to this project in Zambia) from our previous sponsors like you (that is why you are receiving this report) and the GlobalGiving is that the entrepreneurs from Zambia came to Tanzania to learn about the Nanofilter Water Stations that you helped us established. Through your support we are now able to showcase our proven business model (refill of water in Nanofilter Stations) and many success stories.

On the other hand, this quarter we were blessed again by winning 17th award. This time it was through our Nanofilter CEO, Mrs Ruth Elineema Lukwaro, who was awarded by the President of Ghana for our significant contribution to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The award is named: Africa Innovates for SDGs.

Once more, we are so grateful to you and all our partners who gave us a beautiful beginning of this interesting journey of Nanofilter and we see a brighter future. Please kindly let us know if you would like to be involved in a certain way – eg. if you want to support us to enter another country or just continue to scale-up within the countries we are already in (Tanzania, Kenya, and Zambia). You may even just support a family get Nanofilter at a price of USD 250 or establish a new water station at USD 1000 to create an employment for one more youth, particularly women. We will send you the name of the household/family you supported, station location / GPS, photos, etc. Then you can drop-by / visit whenever you come to Africa or request your friends to visit us whenever they come to Africa.

We are always grateful for your RELENTLESS SUPPORT.

HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON!
