“I began driving a Think Pink tuk tuk taxi in 2018. As a single parent raising my son, I wanted to create a safer and more secure future for us.
Today, I mainly provide school transport and evening journeys, helping women and children travel safely when they might otherwise feel vulnerable. Knowing that I can offer reassurance and security to my passengers gives me pride in my work.
Through my earnings, I have been able to support my family in ways I once only hoped for. I recently purchased a small village shop, where my father now works, creating an additional income for our family and bringing greater stability to our lives.
My journey has shown me what is possible with opportunity and determination. My ambition for the future is to own my own tuk tuk so I can continue supporting my family while helping even more women travel safely in my community.”
