Our sngle mum tuk tuk taxi drivers find themselve, through no fault of their own, in crisis once again.
The impact of the much publicised economic crisis means no fuel for tuk tuks, no work, no income.
The cost of basic foods such as flour and Dahal have increasd 200% and food insecurity is once again a real issue for single parent mums to provide for their children.
1:3 children have limited access to food and 70% of the children at the Rosie May Pre-School where drive rmums send their children, have been identified as malnourished or border line malnourished.
We have launched an emergency food appeal to help support our single mum drivers through this challemging time where they are forced to live in intolerable conditions with no additional support.
Just £25 buys an emergency food parcel and provides a nutritious lunch for a pre - school child for a month.
Please help us to support our tuk tuk drive rmums and their families, keeping ittle tummies full and preventing the long term impact of malnutrition.
Thank you from us and the single mums who rely n us for support during these challenging times your donations are needed more now than ever before.
