Dear GlobalGiving Team and Supporters,

Warm greetings from Leroy Bones Foundation.

We are excited to share an important update on our “Resource Centre for Disabilities” project. Thanks to the generosity and encouragement of our supporters and partners, we have reached a major milestone: the Centre has now been built and is nearing completion.

This is a significant step towards our vision of creating an inclusive and supportive space where children with disabilities and their families can access much-needed services and support.

A Dream Taking Shape

What began as a vision to provide accessible support for children with disabilities is now becoming a reality. The physical space for the Resource Centre is complete, and we are now preparing for the next important phase: equipping the Centre and preparing for its official launch.

Once operational, the Centre will provide a range of support services for children and their families, including:

Learning and educational support
Therapy and developmental support through partnerships with qualified professionals
Parent and caregiver training and support
Early identification and referral support
Inclusive play and learning opportunities
Community awareness and advocacy on disability inclusion

Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where children can learn and develop while families receive the information, encouragement, and practical support they need.

We Are Almost There — But More Support Is Needed

Although the Centre has been built, there is still important work ahead. We need additional resources to finish equipping the Centre with essential learning materials, therapy and sensory resources, furniture, assistive equipment, and other items needed to make the space fully functional and inclusive.

We are now appealing to our GlobalGiving community to continue supporting this project and help us take the final steps toward opening the doors.

Every contribution, regardless of size, will bring us closer to our official launch. Your support can help transform an empty room into a space filled with learning opportunities, resources, encouragement, and hope for children with disabilities and their families.

Dear Supporters,

Warm greetings, and thank you for your continued support and belief in our vision to establish a Resource Centre for Disabilities. We are excited to share a significant milestone in this journey.

Project Progress Update
We are pleased to report that the project is now ready to take off. A key achievement is the successful signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Good Shepherd Church, which has generously provided a location for the Resource Centre. This partnership secures a safe and accessible space where children with disabilities and their families will soon begin receiving much-needed support services.

Fundraising Milestone
We are encouraged to share that we have raised approximately 50% of the funds required to operationalize the Centre. This progress would not have been possible without your generosity and commitment.

What the Centre Will Offer
Once fully operational, the Resource Centre will provide:

Therapy services (physiotherapy, occupational, and speech therapy)
Inclusive learning support and educational resources
Parent and caregiver training, counseling, and peer support
A safe, inclusive space for play, interaction, and growth

What’s Next
With the location secured and initial funds raised, we are now focused on:

Building and equipping the Centre
Procuring therapy and learning materials
Finalizing staffing and volunteer engagement
Preparing for the official launch

Dear Supporters,

Warm greetings, and thank you for your continued generosity and commitment to the “Establish a resource centre for disabled kids” project. We are pleased to share an update on the progress of the project and exciting news that will significantly strengthen our impact.

Project Impact So Far
Thanks to your support, we continue to empower children with disabilities and their families through encouragement, awareness, and access to essential support services. Parents and caregivers have expressed renewed hope as they see their children gaining confidence, social skills, and opportunities that were previously out of reach. Your donations are helping to reduce stigma and create pathways toward inclusion, dignity, and independence for these children.

Exciting News: Establishment of a Well-Being Centre
We are happy to share that plans are underway to establish a Well-Being Centre for Children with Disabilities and Their Families. This Centre will serve as a safe, inclusive space where children and caregivers can access:

Therapy services (speech, occupational, and physiotherapy)
Psychosocial support and counseling for families
Parent training and peer support groups
Inclusive play, learning, and life-skills activities

The Well-Being Centre will greatly enhance the sustainability of this project by providing consistent, holistic support beyond outreach activities. It will be a place of healing, growth, and empowerment for the 50 children we serve — and many more in the future.

While this progress is encouraging, continued donor support is essential to fully equip and operationalize the Well-Being Centre and to sustain ongoing empowerment activities.
