Therapet: Animal Assisted Therapy

2026 has been a busy & exciting year for Therapet so far. We’ve certified 4 dogs this year, have 1 more in her Apprenticeship Phase, and 2 eligible for Temperament Testing. Our dog classes continue to fill up and pave the way for future teams.
Therapet currently has agreements to provide services to the following facilities and their clients, each with unique needs and demographics - all at no charge:

Therapet: Animal Assisted Therapy

Therapet finished 2025 strong! We certified 9 new dogs to join the Therapet crew in sharing Health, Hope, & Healing with our community. Our animals provided 2,720 hours of therapy, visitation, & community service, while our human volunteers gave 4,286 hours of their time to our mission.
