By Elizabeth Woller | Interview Producer
Our Tibetan voices project continues this summer with planned interviews with two Tibetans, including Thupten Jinpa Langri, the principle English translator and interpreter for His Holiness the Dalai Lama for the past 29 years. Jinpa-la recently appeared in Tricycle Magazine, discussing the relationship of Tibetan Buddhism with the West.
A religious scholar with qualifications from both the East and West, Jinpa-la has a lot of knowledge to impart, which is why 3 Generations will be interviewing him about his vison for a world without atrocity. Inspired by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, we are recording the voices of visionaries like Jinpa-la because if we cannot imagine a better world, we cannot create one.
Thanks for your support as we continue to ampify the voices of Tibetans and work toward a world without atrocity.
