The STEM Hub Lab Project is an initiative of Gender Equality Club Nigeria a non-profit, civil society organization established in October 2020 in response to the multiple issues that girls and women from rural areas face, such as: lack of high-quality education, sexual exploitation, and gender-based violence, low income, teenage pregnancy and stigmatization that prevents them from developing and ending the cycle of poverty in which, they are in.

The STEM Hub Lab Project is fundraising campaign initiative to raise funds and construction STEM Hub Lab for students at rural area where STEM education and learning gaps exist, while we're working to ensure that all students have equal opportunity to benefit from the transformational possibilities that STEM has to offer in the 21st century.

Though, at the first quarter report of the project on GlobalGiving platform, no donations or funds has been received but the project teams are working tireless around the clock by local community building capacity meeting within the community of Gboko.

The project so far met with student for STEM practical skills sensitization and awareness across schools in Gboko.

Now, more than ever, we need science that works for everyone, especially women and girls at rural communities. Amidst the global STEM agenda, The STEM Hub lab Project will continued to build hub lab with creative solutions to reach participating youth, engage mentor apprentices, and spread the word about this innovative program.

Needless to say, we could never do it without international donors and philanthropist support. On our part, we will keep working hard to construct an open free STEM Hub laboratory for all school children and community members to improve their scientific knowledge practically while transmitting contents to online portal for global accessibility and affordability of STEM practical learning materials.

We are proud of GlobalGiving and donors community, while look forward to receive more funds to accomplishments this life changing project!

Thank you all!!
