Global Community Service Foundation Has Met the Fund Goal for The Myanmar Environment Friendly Farming Project
Due to the generosity of Global Giving Contributors, GCSF is now able to have significant impact on the environment at Inle Lake. Now that the funding goal has been met, the fund raising project will be deactivated – but the effort to encourage environmentally friendly farming in that part of Myanmar continues. We have specified that any additional funds raised be allocated to the GCSF Project “Helping Babies Breath in South East Asia.”
GCSF has other projects on Global Giving which are worthy of attention.
The funds raised allows GCSF to provide support to the “Women’s Self-help Association“ to continue the environmentally friendly farming efforts. The self-help organization is very effective and efficient, and is greatly respected.
Those that contributed to, and supported, the Environmentally Friendly Farming Project can feel good, and gratified, that they have made a significant contribution toward the quality of Inle Lake, and to the health of those who live on, or near, the lake. And the health benefits will be an important factor in the quality of life for future generations.
