Tropical Depression Dianmu has caused widespread flooding in Southern Chaiyaphum, Thailand. Multiple districts are reporting flooding, with more than 1,500 people impacted. GlobalGiving is working closely with our partners on the ground to get emergency support to them in this time of need.
The flood has caused damage to a variety of buildings and properties. As GlobalGiving has learned from our response to floods around the world, it is vital to get funds to locally-led nonprofits that can respond to the community needs to provide both emergency relief as well as long-term recovery.
All donations to this fund will support flood relief and recovery efforts in Thailand. Initially, the fund helps first responders meet survivors' immediate needs for food, fuel, clean water, medicine, and shelter. As needs emerge, we will support longer-term recovery efforts run by local, vetted organizations in the impacted area.
