From January to March 2026, TELL continued expanding its outreach and community engagement efforts across Japan through workshops, awareness talks, QPR trainings, fundraising events, and community programs.
In the first quarter of 2026, TELL reached more than 1,250 participants through 34 community events, workshops, and outreach activities across the Kanto, Kansai, Kyushu, Okinawa, and online communities.
Highlights from the first quarter include:
Multiple recurring community engagement events across Kanto and Kansai, including Pub Quizzes, Yoga for TELL, Band Nights, and fundraising gatherings
7 Lifeline Awareness talks and school/community mental health presentations, reaching more than 360 participants
3 QPR suicide prevention trainings delivered to schools and university communities
Continued outreach to international schools, embassies, refugee communities, women’s leadership groups, and educational institutions across Japan
Ongoing volunteer and Lifeline recruitment awareness sessions conducted online and in-person
Regional outreach included:
Kanto: over 680 participants reached
Kansai: over 75 participants reached
Kyushu: school-based Lifeline awareness outreach
Online nationwide programming: over 480 participants reached
These activities reflect the growing demand for accessible, multilingual mental health awareness and suicide prevention support throughout Japan.
