Children with hearing develop the ability to listen and talk by being surrounded by a world of conversation. For a child with hearing loss, families need to be more intentional about helping to support their child's listening and language development. Funding to the project will support the purchase of sophisticated and simple-to-use technology that can help families better understand how to help their child reach their full language and learning potential. Recordings of the child's sound environment, their voice and the voices of those around them, help paint the picture of the quality and quantity of interactions, leading to clues on how to adjust and enhance communication to help the child succeed.
Thank you for your support!
