Skill Acquisition and Technology Training (SATT):

Study shows that in sub-Sahara Africa, the computer access rate in rural area is 3.5%, which means that approximately 96.5% of rural residents do not have access to a computer. The Skill Acquisition and Technology Training was conducted at Obingwa, a community without access to technology. Findings suggest that while 40 out of 78 participants (over 50%) have never sighted a computer before, over 80% of the class have never worked on a computer prior to training, with girls accounting for over 50%”. The AAA Foundation engaged participating senior secondary school students in digital skills training, covering basic computer skills and tools for daily use, the internet and how it works, social media management, getting started with Artificial intelligence and content creation. Other non-tech skills taught included transformative leadership skills, communication skills, the Sustainable Development Goals. Training ended with the presentation of laptop, project, and screen to aid the teaching of AI in the school
