1·2·3 X TIC: INNOVACIÓN EDUCATIVA EN TIMBÍO

Es un placer saludarte y compartir contigo nuestros avances.

En este informe queremos compartir contigo los logros alcanzados a través de las personas que han participado en nuestro programa 1·2·3 X TIC. Hoy te contamos la historia de la docente Sara Virginia Pérez Mera, quien pertenece a la Institución Educativa Concentración Escolar Guillermo Valencia, en Timbío, Cauca.

Una experiencia transformadora

Para Sara, el programa 1·2·3 X TIC ha sido una experiencia enriquecedora que transformó la enseñanza en su institución educativa. Más que un programa educativo, 1·2·3 X TIC se convirtió en una puerta hacia nuevas formas de aprendizaje, donde la tecnología dejó de ser solo una herramienta para convertirse en un medio de creatividad, innovación y emprendimiento.

Este proceso no solo implicó guiar a sus estudiantes, sino también aprender con ellos, adaptándose a un modelo educativo que fomenta la autonomía y el pensamiento crítico.

Conectando lo local con lo global

Desde su rol como docente de inglés, Sara encontró en 1·2·3 X TIC una oportunidad invaluable para conectar su área con el mundo real. Su proyecto "Fortalecimiento del Inglés a través del intercambio intercultural y uso de las áreas STEAM" halló en este programa un aliado natural, permitiendo a los estudiantes explorar su identidad local desde una perspectiva global.

Con la iniciativa "Timbío for the World", los estudiantes no solo mejoraron su dominio del idioma, sino que también compartieron su cultura y contexto con el mundo.

Más allá del aula

Uno de los aspectos más valiosos de esta experiencia fue el espíritu de colaboración y trabajo en equipo que se generó dentro y fuera del aula. La transversalidad se convirtió en un pilar fundamental, integrando diferentes áreas del conocimiento de manera natural y efectiva.

Ver a los estudiantes diseñar proyectos con visión de autosostenibilidad y aprovechando los recursos de su región fue una de las mayores satisfacciones para Sara. Como ella misma menciona: "Trabajar con lo propio hace que el aprendizaje sea más significativo y fácil de asimilar".

Un impacto duradero

Este proceso reafirmó en Sara una convicción fundamental: la educación es un viaje de aprendizaje constante, donde tanto docentes como estudiantes crecen juntos. Para ella, el mayor impacto de 1·2·3 X TIC no solo radica en los logros de sus estudiantes, sino en la semilla que ha sembrado en su comunidad educativa. La capacidad de adaptación, el deseo de aprender y la posibilidad de soñar en grande ahora forman parte integral de sus clases.

1·2·3 X TIC: EDUCATIONAL INNOVATION IN TIMBÍO

We hope you are doing very well.

In this report, we want to share with you the achievements of the participants of our 1·2·3 X TIC program. Today, we will share the story of teacher Sara Virginia Pérez Mera, who belongs to the Guillermo Valencia School Educational Concentration in Timbío, Cauca.

A transformative experience

For Sara, the 1·2·3 X TIC program has been an enriching experience that transformed teaching at her educational institution. More than an academic program, 1·2·3 X TIC became a gateway to new forms of learning, where technology stopped being just a tool to become a medium for creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

This process not only involved guiding her students but also learning with them, adapting to an educational model that fosters autonomy and critical thinking.

Connecting local with global

From her role as an English teacher, Sara found in 1·2·3 X TIC an invaluable opportunity to connect her subject area with the real world. Her project "Strengthening English through intercultural exchange and the use of STEAM areas" found a natural ally in this program, allowing students to explore their local identity from a global perspective.

With the "Timbío for the World" initiative, students not only improved their language proficiency but also shared their culture and context with the world.

Beyond the classroom

One of the most valuable aspects of this experience was the spirit of collaboration and teamwork that was generated inside and outside the classroom. Transversality became a fundamental pillar, integrating different areas of knowledge naturally and effectively.

Seeing students design projects with a vision of self-sustainability while leveraging their region's resources was one of Sara's greatest satisfactions. As she mentions, "Working with what is ours makes learning more meaningful and easier to assimilate."

A lasting impact

This process reaffirmed a fundamental conviction in Sara: education is a constant learning journey where both teachers and students grow together. For her, the greatest impact of 1·2·3 X TIC lies not only in her students' achievements but also in the seed she has planted in her educational community. The capacity for adaptation, the desire to learn, and the possibility to dream big are now an integral part of her classes.
