Most schools went online across the world during the COVID. However, many children in Palestine cannot do the same due to lack of equipment and finances. You can help three Palestinian teachers in Gaza and the West Bank teach Arts, English, and Science to young children. This pilot project is raising funds to cover the teachers' salaries, study materials, masks and hand sanitizers to ensure education for the children who are most in need while keeping them safe.
Due to COVID-19, schools have been closed down in Palestine. Switching to online education is not an option for many Palestinian children. While children's safety is a priority, their education is equally important. Many come from families that were already struggling before the pandemic. If they don't maintain their education now, they risk falling behind indefinitely. Please give to prevent this from happening.
This pilot project will provide education during COVID-19 by supporting three qualified teachers to teach Art, English, and Science virtually or in a socially-distanced environment. Through your support, we can help fund teachers' salaries, study materials, and PPE. We can also raise awareness of the world's best practices on teaching during COVID by promoting an exchange of knowledge between the teachers and experts from all over the world.
This pilot project can help ensure that a generation grows up to be engaged members of society despite the pandemic. This model can then be replicated by other local educators who are supporting young Palestinian students. By teaching best safety practices along with English, Science, and Art, students can apply what they learn at home and keep their communities safe.
