We train entrepreneur women in managerial and personal initiative skills. Assisting them to improve their businesses or transform ideas into enterprises. We have supported over 30,000 Mexican women to realize their potential, increase their income through managerial capacities, and gain confidence to end cycles of violence and poverty. This project intends to fund the training of 60 women, aiding them to start a healthier life through business development and self-fulfillment.
The main reasons that limits success of these women are: lack of managerial skills, access to credit, and cultural barriers linked to gender inequality. Women in Mexico represent 43.8% of total labor force and their salary is 23% less than men. Furthermore, around 62.7% of Mexican women have declare suffering at least one incident of gender violence. This is why our methodology encompasses both managerial and personal initiative skills, to be able to address both issues at the same time.
The Business module training prepares women on accounting, legal, marketing, taxes, and business development. Resulting in increases in sales, income, and saving habits. Later translating into reinvestment for their businesses. The Personal Initiative module cements grounds for them to gain a more proactive attitude and personal self-fulfillment, reflecting in better confidence and resilience to bear challenges at home and their businesses. Our program is standardized and proved effective.
We believe in the immense potential of women and the impact they create in their communities. Our mission is to shorten gender and economic gaps, our methodology shows significant results increasing women's income, staff and salaries. Moreover, each woman not only initiates a path for a better life, but contributes to generate greatness in others. In collaboration with the World Bank, we published an impact evaluation proving our method, please revise it on the documents section.
