AfricAid's Textbooks for Tanzanians helps provide funding for the purchase of much-needed textbooks for thousands of kids in Tanzanian classrooms.
Imagine sitting in a classroom, crammed in with as many as 100 other students, and trying to learn without having even a single textbook. This is the reality for so many Tanzanian students, who have to resort to memorizing their lessons from what is written by their teachers on the classroom chalkboard.
Helping to fund the purchase of textbooks will give thousands of young Tanzanians the opportunity for a more meaningful education, and provide them with an important head start for later life.
Students will receive a better education, thus providing them with the knowledge and tools with which to transform their own lives, seek employment, and contribute to their communities.
