Dear friends of the TANF Family,
First and foremost a HAPPY NEW YEAR and an amazing start in 2019 to you and your loved ones.
It is my pleasure to share with you the great impact achieved in 2018 and also the key focus areas TANF will prioritize in 2019. So read on!
END OF 2018 HIGHLIGHTS
As you know TANF’s impact is growing every single year. All thanks to the growing global community of sponsors, volunteers and ambassador that support TANF with their time, funds or expertise.
We are absolutely thrilled to share some of the key highlights of what was TANF able to achieve in 2018:
An incredible number of 66 underprivileged kids were sponsored through TANF to education and health insurance – being an incredible 78% increase since last year! Yay!
Another 1000+ people from the local Ghanaian community was provided with TANF’s health screening making sure we contribute to a healthy and thriving environment for the children.
Amazingly, we have been able to raise a total of $23,772 via GlobalGiving, one of our key partners in connecting sponsors with charities as TANF.
TANF also attracted more than 20 new volunteers visiting us here in Ghana and providing TANF with invaluable on-site support.

Grow Global Awareness about TANF
One of our key strategic goals is to spread the word about TANF internationally, growing and engaging the global community. We want the world to hear about our work in Ghana, about the impact our small but powerful grassroot and bureaucracy-free charity is doing. We want to create a global idea exchange, sourcing innovative ideas from our network and also attracting more sponsors, volunteers and ambassadors to TANF.
#160 Kids Sponsored 2019
Secondly we are ambitious we can increase the number of sponsored kids from 66 to 160…by crazy 142%! This is an ambitious but also an attainable number, mainly with growing number of community, team-members and partners that we expect to join TANF’s mission in 2019.
Still, we have 450 children on our waiting list allowing our new sponsors to change a life of a child by donating ONLY 1$ per day! Yay!

TANF’s School Building
Another big goal of ours is to fundraise substantial amount of money to start building our unique TANF school, providing not only innovative education approach but also offering a safe, playful and loving environment, where all kids are equal and where they can grow as individuals, have hope to achieve their dreams and thrive. We have already secured the land and have the architect plans ready. Now it’s time to find suitable individual & corporate sponsors and strategic partners in order to accelerate the building process, get the right material and start the works.

Currently, at TANF, we are looking to expand our team offering variety of positions but we are also happy to co-create a position with you…for you.
