Strengthen Communities and Transform Lives

By Andrea Curet | Development and Fundraising Officer

This Giving Tuesday, Taller Salud is launching a critical campaign to bring transformative, lasting change across Puerto Rico. For over 40 years, our work has empowered women, supported at-risk youth, and helped communities heal. Today, your support can help us further to create safe, resilient spaces for those who need it most.

A Legacy of Impact in Loíza

In Loíza, Puerto Rico, a community too often overlooked, our initiatives have achieved measurable change, including a 65% reduction in violent deaths. We proudly stand alongside our community, providing vital support where traditional systems fall short. Every day, we work to meet immediate needs while building the foundations for long-term resilience, security, and hope.

Championing Justice, Human Rights, and Reproductive Health

Our focus on justice and human rights means that every person we serve is seen, heard, and supported. We provide essential resources that promote safety, equity, and reproductive health, ensuring that women and girls have access to the education and services they deserve. These are not just programs but lifelines that bring dignity and opportunity.

Addressing Urgent Needs for Those Left Behind

Our communities in Puerto Rico face severe challenges: limited healthcare access, high rates of gender-based violence, and scarce resources for young people. Each disaster, each economic setback, only intensifies these struggles. Decades of systemic neglect have left gaps that Taller Salud strives to fill, bringing care and stability to vulnerable families and neighborhoods.

Our Vision for Lasting Change

With your help, we can expand Taller Salud’s health services, gender-based violence prevention programs, and youth empowerment initiatives. By working directly with communities and training local leaders, we ensure that support reaches those often left behind, especially in times of crisis. Together, we build trust, resilience, and a foundation for lasting recovery and empowerment.

This Giving Tuesday, you have the power to make a difference. Stand with Taller Salud and join us in building a safer, healthier Puerto Rico where every community can thrive.

Donate Today. Together, we can create a future of hope, safety, and resilience.
