Taking care of endangered girls in Nepal

Two pillars guide our mission: caring for children who are victims of violence, and training young women in situations of extreme vulnerability.
We develop partnerships to foster their social integration.
We are happy to share with you the latest news from the village.

Four new girls have joined the village and have integrated well. There are now 28 girls in total.
In 2026, we plan to introduce enhanced psychological support for the children, provide the opportunity to attend higher-quality schools, and ensure more comprehensive follow-up for the girls after they leave the village.
Anju, 20 years old (pictured on the left below), spent her entire childhood in the village. Alongside her third year of a bachelor’s degree, she has returned as a part-time finance assistant to the Director of the Training Center. An inspiring success story for the younger girls.

174 young women have completed certified training programs (on average three months, depending on the specialty, including IT, Beauty, and Sewing).
In a country with very limited employment prospects, we encourage young women to create their own businesses. To this end, we organized an entrepreneurship training course.
Creating one’s own micro-enterprise is often a matter of survival, as illustrated by Binu, an “untouchable” woman (photo below). Thanks to her small tailoring shop, she earns €60 per month, which allows her to pay for her son’s schooling (€24 per month), as her husband suffers from a mental disability.
We monitor all micro-business initiatives launched over the past three years to help them grow.

How can we help the village gradually become self-sufficient?
The first approach is to expand agricultural operations to generate income.
In addition to the three existing greenhouses and the first five beehives (producing 15 kilograms of honey per year), we will plant banana trees, avocado trees, coffee plants, and other fruit trees, and purchase two female buffalo capable of producing 100 liters of milk per week.

Overall, your support has helped change the lives of more than 200 young girls and women this year.
