Regrettably, despite the support of donors and friends, we have not met our fundraising goals for this project. While we feel strongly about the need for this project and the potential for it to address the issue of songbird trafficking into the EU, we are unable to begin without the sufficient funds, and therefore we have decided to deactivate this project.
We are extremely grateful to the donors who have contributed thus far, and as we have other ongoing projects on songbird trafficking focusing on other regions, including South Asia, East Asia, and Southeast Asia, we felt it wise to move these donated funds to support those projects.
Ultimately, we are dedicated to stopping the decline in species negatively impacted by trade by providing objective and evidence-based scientific research.
Please continue to support our work for lesser-known wildlife species.
