Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your kindness and generosity in supporting our initiative helping poor families affected by the eruption of Taal Volcano. Even if the eruption happened many months ago already, the effect for the very poor residents in nearby areas still persist. This problem is compounded by the coronavirus pandemic that is affecting even the remotest of communities. This reporting period we focus our support to the provision of hygiene kits to the beneficiaries. Thanks to a partner who provided us the bulk of kits that we are able to distribute. We are able to reach-out to 600 beneficiaries and help them during this reporting period. Aside from the hygiene kits we are able to continue providing them with vegetable seed packets so that they are able to continue their vegetable gardening activities. Hoping for your continuing support.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your continuing support to our project assisting those affected by the eruption of Taal volcano. Although the eruption happened months ago already but lives of those affected especially very vulnerable families are still difficult because of the problem caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. Economic activities in the affected areas as well as those in the neighboring non-affected towns have slowed down and these is affecting a lot of the population. Added to this situation is the continuing restiveness of the volcano and we don't know whether another eruption will happen. Anyway, thank you very much for your help. This reporting period which is within the holiday season we distributed food to 320 children near the villages where our volunteers are residing. Movement in the areas have been hampered but we are able to implement our activities with a lot of challenges. Again, thank you very much for your generosity.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous donation to our project providing relief and recovery to poor families affected by the eruption of Taal volcano. We are indeed in a very challenging situation because aside from the problem caused by the eruption and the displacement of so many families, the Coronavirus pandemic caused more miseries. This reporting period we continue to provide hygiene kits comprising soap, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush to 730 families. Then together with the distribution we also provided them with vegetable seed packets as starter kit for their gardening activities. The vegetable seeds is important especially for families that are not able to freely move around because of the lockdowns. Instead of going to the market they will be able to procure their vegetable needs around their backyards.

Hoping for your continuing generosity and support.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing relief and recovery to poor communities affected by the eruption of Taal volcano. The eruption has wrecked havoc to lives and livelihoods of countless families and the problem is compounded by the fact that while these families are struglling to survive and recover from the disaster, the Coronavirus pandemic is another much graver disaster that is currently happening with still no cure or vaccine available. Now we are yet again facing the typhoon season and this will negatively impact local villagers. This reporting period we focus our attention in the provision of food packs to remote villagers who opted to stay with relatives and friends in neighboring towns not affected by the volcano eruption. We were able to provide 3,000 food packs good for 1,500 families. In addition to the food packs, we are able to provide them with a month supply of hygiene kits comprising soap, toothbrush, toothpaste and feminine pads for women and girls. Hoping for your continuing support.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora
