Dear Supporter,
The work of rebuilding communities does not begin with infrastructure alone—it begins with people.
Across Syria, years of conflict have left deep social wounds, weakened trust between communities, and reduced opportunities for meaningful civic engagement. Yet despite these challenges, local leaders, young people, and women continue to demonstrate a strong commitment to creating a more peaceful and cooperative future.
We are pleased to share that activities under the Syrian Peace Resources Network are continuing as planned.
During the current phase of implementation, preparations are underway to strengthen local peacebuilding efforts through capacity-building activities, community engagement initiatives, and the development of collaborative spaces where participants can exchange experiences and learn from one another.
The project continues to focus on empowering youth and women with practical skills that support dialogue, community leadership, problem-solving, and constructive engagement. These efforts are helping participants become active contributors to positive change within their communities.
At the same time, coordination efforts with local stakeholders and community representatives are progressing, laying the foundation for future dialogue forums and community-led initiatives designed to strengthen social cohesion and encourage cooperation among diverse groups.
While rebuilding trust is a gradual process, every training session, discussion, and community connection contributes to a broader culture of understanding and peaceful coexistence.
We remain committed to supporting local peacebuilders and creating opportunities for communities to work together toward a more stable and inclusive future.
Thank you to everyone who has supported this initiative and believes in the power of dialogue, participation, and community-led peacebuilding.
Together, we are helping create the conditions for stronger communities, greater cooperation, and lasting peace across Syria.
