Syria Winter Appeal: Saving Lives from the Cold

As another winter approaches, we are preparing to continue supporting vulnerable families in Syria who face the cold without adequate heating, warm clothing, or safe shelter.

During the previous winter response, Yasmen provided winter assistance using the organization’s own resources, helping vulnerable families with essential items and support to face the cold. This assistance was made possible through the organization’s own funds and was not financed through donations received through this GlobalGiving project.

The experience reinforced how serious the winter needs remain. Many families continue to live with limited income and inadequate housing, making it difficult to afford heating fuel, warm clothing, blankets, and other basic winter necessities.

As we look ahead to the coming winter, we are preparing to continue this work and expand our ability to reach families who may need assistance the most. The project is designed to provide practical winter support, including warm clothing, blankets, heating fuel, and safe heating solutions.

This GlobalGiving project has not yet received funding, but the need it was created to address remains urgent.

We hope that continued support will allow us to strengthen our winter response and reach more vulnerable families with timely assistance when temperatures begin to fall.
