Great News! JHS Block Project Reaches over $33,000 Milestone.

At Cocoa360, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of young girls in rural cocoa farming communities. Through our innovative 'Farm-for-Impact' model, we leverage revenue from cocoa farms to provide tuition-free education and subsidized healthcare, empowering children and families to build a self-sufficient future.

We are grateful for your continued support in building a Junior High School block for our girls at Tarkwa Breman Girls’ School (TBGS). Your generosity continues to inspire us as we work toward providing uninterrupted, quality education for our students. 

We are thrilled to share that we have raised over $3,000 so far toward the construction of a dedicated Junior High School block. While we still have a way to go, this milestone is encouraging—and it’s all thanks to your generosity and the incredible support of partners.

Report on Rural Health Equity Program and Clinic Expansion

Cocoa360 remains committed to ensuring quality healthcare services for underserved rural cocoa communities, with a focus on reducing treatment costs and improving access to essential medical care. We believe that everyone, no matter their socio-economic background, deserves access to affordable and quality healthcare. Through our Rural Health Equity Program, we provide top-notch and offer affordable healthcare services,  including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care, to our community members. To ease the financial burden on families, we've reduced treatment costs by up to 77-80% and waived fees for those over 60.

However, challenges remain. Our clinic faces limited space in the wards and treatment center, as well as a lack of dedicated specialized wards, restricting our ability to provide comprehensive care to a growing patient population.

The good news is that we are expanding our clinic to address these pressing challenges and better serve our community. 

Key elements of the expansion include:

• Delivery Unit: A fully equipped unit to support safe and efficient childbirth.
• Nursery: Dedicated space for neonatal care and early childhood health monitoring.
• Surgical Theater: A facility for minor surgical procedures to improve treatment options.
• Specialized Wards: Enhanced inpatient care with specialized treatment areas.
• Recovery Rooms: Comfortable spaces to support post-treatment recovery, etc.

Progress and Next Steps

The expansion is progressing steadily, with 25% of the work completed. As we move forward, our focus remains on completing the construction of medical units, fully equipping the expanded facility, and strengthening community engagement to ensure maximum impact.
