Cocoa360 is a Ghanaian nonprofit organization working with rural cocoa-growing communities to build sustainable pathways to education and healthcare. Founded on the belief that no child should be limited by their environment, Cocoa360 partners with communities to create solutions that allow children and families to shape their own futures. We believe true education extends beyond the classroom; it requires creating the conditions where every child can learn with confidence. Through our community-led 'Farm-for-Impact' model, we work alongside families and farmers to turn local resources into lasting opportunities.

This term, our students at Tarkwa Breman Girls' School have completed their class assessments, marking another important step in their academic journey. These assessments help our teachers measure learning progress, celebrate achievements, and identify where additional support is needed so that every student continues to grow.

Beyond the classroom, we remain committed to supporting the overall well-being of every student. All our students at the Tarkwa Breman Girls' School receive 100% health insurance coverage, ensuring they can access healthcare whenever they need it. When students are healthy, they are more likely to attend school consistently, stay focused in class, and reach their full potential. By removing healthcare as a barrier to learning, we are creating an environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed.

Shaping Tomorrow's Leaders.

Cocoa360 is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of rural communities in Ghana by expanding access to quality education and healthcare. Through our innovative Farm-for-Impact model, we reinvest revenue generated from community-run cocoa farms to support essential services, including the Tarkwa Breman Girls’ School and the Tarkwa Breman Community Clinic. By removing financial barriers and providing opportunities for young girls to learn and thrive, we are helping nurture confident leaders who will shape the future of their communities.

As part of this commitment to holistic education, our preschoolers recently participated in an engaging Career Day at the Tarkwa Breman Girls’ School. The event created an exciting platform for students to explore various career paths, interact with professionals, and gain valuable insight into the opportunities available to them.

Throughout the day, our preschoolers engaged with various community professionals, learning in a fun and interactive way about the different jobs people do. The invited guests shared simple stories about their work, helping the children connect what they learn in class with real-world roles like nursing, farming, and teaching. This event helped spark the students' curiosity and encouraged them to imagine what they might want to be when they grow up.

This Career Day served as a powerful reminder that exposure and mentorship can ignite ambition and help young people envision what they can become.

Transforming Rural Girls' Education

Cocoa360 was founded on a simple but powerful belief: rural communities can drive their own development when given the right tools and structure. Through our Farm-for-Impact model, we leverage revenue from a community-run cocoa farm to fund education and healthcare in the cocoa-growing community of Tarkwa Breman. This approach reduces dependency on external aid and ensures that progress is sustainable, community-owned, and long-lasting.

Today, thanks to your partnership, the Tarkwa Breman Girls’ School (TBGS) remains a safe and empowering place where rural girls can learn, dream, and thrive.

We are excited to announce a major expansion of our student body! We conducted a thorough screening process to select 30 new kindergarten students, giving even more children the opportunity to benefit from a quality, free education. With this addition, our total enrollment at TBGS has successfully grown to 390 girls. This increase reflects the growing demand for quality education in our community.

Our dining hall project is now almost completed, marking an important step toward improving nutrition and overall well-being for our students. Once fully operational, the dining hall will provide a clean and organized space where all our girls can receive nutritious meals each day—meals that support better concentration, increased attendance, and improved academic performance.

We are proud to share that all students are provided with coverage under the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS). This is a critical investment in their well-being. By ensuring they have free and immediate access to basic healthcare services at our clinic, we alleviate a significant financial burden on their families and guarantee that minor illnesses do not escalate or result in prolonged absence from school. Healthy girls learn better, and your support is making that possible.
