Junior's foot is healing very well. He has required several hundred dollars worth of specialized farrier work including shoeing every 4-6 weeks to allow for hoof growth on his bad foot. This work was and is expected to continue through the upcoming year. He is making great progress and is expected to be completely sound. You can definitely tell he is feeling better the way he plays and gets around in the pasture. The Vets did confirm though that he is blind in his right eye and it is not correctable. They may consider removing it in the future if it he begins to show any discomfort.
Thank you so much again for your continued support! You helped make a difference in this horse's quality of life.
