Do you know the biggest ways our oceans are polluted? We have developed a bilingual PLAY 'N LEARN interactive word and picture card game based on the real-life experiences of beach cleanups and we need funds to print decks of cards for educators and families to join in the fight for ocean health. PLAYA PATROL is a fun memory game for all ages, families and teachers in Spanish and English (French and Mandarin to come). Endorsed by Almunecar International School and Asociacion Ambiente Europeo
Community beach cleanups are a great hands-on activity that helps curb climate change anxiety. We were asked by parents, educators and government officials to do more to build awareness around ocean litter and we've answered the challenge! We decided to develop memory-based Play 'n Learn interactive word and picture card game for people of all ages inspired to help join in the fight for ocean health. Now, families and schools can play the game and make a difference in their community.
Our Play 'n Learn interactive card game helps kids of all ages build an emotional connection to the climate change problem. Teachers and Parents can focus on specific cards during classroom activities or after-dinner family-time. Children have a safe environment to ask questions such as "What can I do to help stop ocean litter?" or "What can we use instead?" so that they are empowered to help tackle the climate change problem.
Imagine if every school had one deck of PLAYA PATROL cards? Imagine if each beach cleanup association around the world had one too? What if grandparents had a deck? Our first game is in English/Spanish and we plan on having English/French and English/Mandarin. Making the game super-affordable is our goal.
