Help vulnerable Malian children leave the streets and enjoy childhood in ACFA's loving care, receiving a permanent stable home, nutritious meals, healthcare, education, vocational training and sports. ACFA's Zorokoro Children's Complex has 25 toddlers living at the Complex! The Complex school has 100 young children including ACFA children and children from the surrounding villages. Our older children in Bamako are thriving. Help us bring more toddlers off the streets so they can have a future.
Over 700,000 vulnerable children live on the streets in Mali, begging for food and money. Many children are exposed to hunger, drugs, prostitution, robbery and criminal activities. Education is a luxury that they do not even dream of. Without a safe home and access to education, these children have virtually no chance of bringing themselves out of poverty.
ACFA provides vulnerable children with everything they need to prosper in life: a loving home, clothing, food, healthcare, education, and sports. ACFA has raised 12 children already who are thriving. ACFA has 25 toddlers at the Zorokoro Children's Complex and 100 in the Complex school which also provides education to rural children who do not currently have access to school. The goal is to bring in another 75 children off the streets and provide other services to the surrounding rural area.
ACFA's nurturing environment can make all the difference in a child's life. We help children become self-sufficient, positive contributors to Mali's economic and social development. These are children who likely would have no future but for ACFA. Their only thought was where the next meal would come from. These children can now dream of becoming a chef, an accountant, a mechanic, a journalist and more and ACFA will help make these dreams a reality.
