Dear friends:
First, we want to thank the support given to this project that will help school communities affected by the catastrophic fire in Valparaiso, occurred in April of this year. Until today, we have raised US $ 1.555 with the cooperation of all of you.
This month we met with Cecilia Pinochet, Director of Education of the City of Valparaiso, and we told her that we raised these funds for schools affected by the fire. Mainly, we talked about helping to improve local infrastructure damaged. Quite excited about this idea, C. Pinochet promised that she will analyze (with her team) if it is the right choice to use these resources, and after that, we will meet again -in early August- to determine the use of this money.
Finally, we want to tell you that the District was very grateful for this support, that was possible because of the collaboration of each of you!!
If you have any comments, you can send it to us.
Keep in touch!
Warm regards and best wishes!
