This project will support schools and school communities affected by the big fire that happened on April 12th 2014 in Valparaiso, Chile. With your support we will be providing different kind of items depending on the different needs each school presents (school clothes, books, school supplies, repair of buildings, etc.). The flames have left 12500 victims, consumed 1140 acres, burned more than 2900 homes and have killed at least 15 residents. Specifically in terms of education, two schools and two kindergarten centers have been damaged by the fire, and at least three schools are being used as shelters (for people that have lost everything). We want restore as quickly as possible the life of these children and teenagers that had been affected by this disaster.// Mas de 12.500 damnificados y 2900 casas quemadas.
We have worked with the Valparaiso`s District in different projects during this year. We are now working together again giving support to these schools and their school communities, so with this campaign, Educacion 2020 will provide support to these people.
