Upon the program start, a dedicated committee of experts has been created to oversee the activities required. The committee comprised of EFE program manager, a qualified psychologist and certified soft skills trainers.
This committee has played a pivotal role in ensuring effective coordination and providing expert guidance throughout the project's journey.
It has in fact organized the initiative in two distinct phases, each offering unique benefits:
Phase 1 (Immediate and emergency relief): the first phase consisted of urgently launching calls for donations in kind in order to complement GlobalGiving donation and thus support more vulnerable people. A sorting operation and additional purchase for missing items was carried out in the weeks following the earthquake and donations were sent to the most isolated regions. This initial phase involves also planning site visits to engage with local NGOs, connect with affected families, establish relationships with responsible authorities, and explore potential partnerships to prepare the launch of phase 2 of our initiative. Indeed, we were envisioning offering a series of workshops designed to identify the specific needs of the earthquake victims. This comprehensive approach has provided a solid foundation for our initiative.
Phase 2 (Spreading hope and optimism): Building upon the insights gained in Phase 1, a dedicated trip was organized in the region by the committee of experts and EFE staff members with the aim to support directly and in a more sustain way the local population.
Different workshops were thus provided in assistance to more than 100 children and their mothers in regions close to Alhaouz that have been impacted by the earthquake such as AZGUOUR, ANGAR, AMZMIZ, and IMINTALA. The youth and women have benefited for soft skills training such resilience, team work, adaptability and women empowerment.

Your financial contribution was instrumental in bringing our vision to life and making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by the earthquake in Haouz Region.
