The project aims to improve the hygiene, health, and dignity of 200 displaced women in Miti (Kabare), who have limited access to essential hygiene items. Through the distribution of hygiene kits and awareness sessions on personal, household, and menstrual hygiene, the intervention will help reduce the risk of disease, strengthen women's protection, and promote their well-being, dignity, and resilience in the face of the humanitarian crisis.
Displaced women in Miti, Kabare Territory face poor living conditions due to forced displacement linked to security and humanitarian crises. They lack access to basic hygiene items such as soap, sanitary pads, and buckets, increasing risks of disease, infections, and social exclusion while affecting their dignity and well-being. The project responds by providing hygiene kits and strengthening knowledge of good hygiene and health practices.
The project will directly address the needs of displaced women in Miti by distributing hygiene kits containing essential items for personal and menstrual hygiene. It will also organize awareness sessions on good hygiene practices, disease prevention, and menstrual hygiene management. This approach will help reduce health risks, improve living conditions, strengthen dignity and protection, and enhance the well-being and resilience of beneficiaries in the face of the humanitarian crisis.
