FINAL REPORT
SUPPORTING CHILDREN IN LEARNING LABS
With the support of 89 people who believed in our work and the mission we carry out, our project Supporting children in learning labs project has reached the Open Challenge. We reach to collect $ 5,181, which not only give us the opportunity to belong to the Global Giving platform, but allow us to implement this project with a community by its geographical location, have no access to the city´s spaces as the Explore Park.
Funds raised will be used to benefit a 120 community of children from San Cristobal, one of the farthest neighborhoods from Medellin city with low educational levels, resources and income.
Project will be implementing in January and February next, because children are finishing their school year, and year – ends holidays are coming and its not possible to call children who stay in all meetings.
Themes of clubs will be Robotics and Natural Sciences. Each club will be led by two teachers who guide 20 children. Activities will include a final visit at Explora Park to finish the academic process and to evidence in an apply form contents they studied and made at the club.
Parents can get involved in their children process through the final visit at Explora Park and in the last fair where children will show the final product made by them as an evidence of the learning and results.
We will send the next report with the description of children who participate in the learning labs, and how successful was the call.
Thank you so much to all donors who believed and made this possible.
