At Casa PACO IAP, a home for children and adolescents who have experienced violence and neglect, the educational program helps them learn and develop. They focus on motor skills, mathematics, reading, writing, social skills, and emotional development to prepare for the future.
It is emphasized the importance of both children and educators building knowledge through their interactions. Educators must continuously adjust and propose new strategies for effective socialization of skills, knowledge, and discoveries. Additionally, there is a strong emphasis on providing salaries to educators, as well as materials and covering school expenses, since the institution is sustained by donations.
This project supports the mental and emotional development of children and adolescents by teaching them academic and social skills. This will help them live free from violence and prepare for independent life.
With this educational program, children and adolescents will become responsible and empathetic individuals, capable of solving problems in a positive manner and committed to their community and society
