Story / Update

Access to modern education, particularly in the field of Information Technology, remains limited in many remote areas of Pakistan. In District Bajaur, where opportunities for digital learning are scarce, youth often lack the skills required to compete in today’s technology-driven world.

To bridge this gap, Alkhidmat Foundation has launched a Bano Qabil IT Lab in Khar, Bajaur, as part of its commitment to empowering youth through free IT education. The lab is equipped to provide structured training in digital skills, enabling students to learn, grow, and explore opportunities in the online and professional world.

Through this initiative, more than 100 students will be trained every 3 to 6 months, ensuring continuous learning opportunities for the community. The program aims to develop practical skills such as basic computing, freelancing, and digital literacy, helping students become self-reliant and economically empowered.

This milestone marks a significant step toward reducing the digital divide and creating pathways for youth to build a brighter and more sustainable future.

The demand for digital skills in Pakistan is growing rapidly, yet many young people—especially from underserved areas—lack access to quality IT education. To bridge this gap, Alkhidmat Foundation organized a full-day interview and assessment session for the Bano Qabil Program in Gujrat.

Education and digital skills are powerful tools to break the cycle of poverty and unemployment. In Mansehra, thousands of young students dream of pursuing careers in technology but lack access to affordable training opportunities.

To bridge this gap, Alkhidmat Foundation organized the Bano Qabil Entry Test, where over 7,000 students gathered to compete for enrollment in free IT and digital skills programs.
