Hot meals for 800 Ukrainians in cities under fire

Thanks to your kindness and trust, we managed to purchase food for three months for hot meal outlets in Kyiv, Sumy and Oleksandriia.

Now, more than 700 people — elderly people, displaced persons, homeless people, and families who have lost everything — will be able to receive hot meals every day. For many, this is not just food, but the only source of warmth and strength to survive another day.

Such assistance becomes an island of stability amid uncertainty. Each portion of hot food is not only nourishment, but also a piece of warmth from those who remember and empathise, who do not leave people alone with their pain and need.

The aid continues, and with your support, we will be able to provide meals to those who need it most — people who wait for this food as a sign of hope and care every day.

Sometimes a simple bowl of hot meal is not just food. It is life. It is a memory of home that no longer exists. It is the feeling that you are not forgotten.

Thanks to your kindness and support, our project ‘Hot meals for 800 Ukrainians in cities under fire’ continues to operate in one of the most attackable corners of Ukraine — the city of Kharkiv, which is shaken by sounds of air alerts and explosions every day.

With your donations, we have purchased food and have been preparing hot meals for 80 people for a whole month. Among them are lonely elderly people, people with disabilities, displaced persons, the unemployed, and the homeless. People who have lost everything except hope.

Volunteers tell us stories that are impossible to forget. A lonely elderly woman named Anna comes to the distribution point every day, regardless of the weather. She quietly sits down on a bench, warms her hands over a bowl of soup and smiles: ‘While you are cooking, I am alive.’ One of the men, homeless and without documents, said that for the first time in a long time, he feels that someone cares about him.

This is all thanks to you.

Every meal prepared and served with love is warmth, care, and restoration of human dignity. It is an antidote to fear and loneliness. And your donations are not just numbers. They are real lives, real faces, real help. You are part of the light which we bring to places which are dark now.
