We are deeply grateful to GlobalGiving for providing us with this platform to share our vision and progress. The Farms for Community Transformative Foundation (FFCT Foundation) was established to empower rural communities in Nigeria through agricultural development.
Our first pilot project is the establishment of a community farm that will provide food security, training, and sustainable livelihoods for families in need.
We have 2.3 acres (20 plots) of suitable farmland in Okanle. In August, our team went there as part of our preparation. We are fully ready to begin the farm project. The community is also expecting the big day that the work will begin. At this stage, the only factor delaying the commencement of the farm project is funding.
This Phase 1 project will enable us to clear the land. We will pay local people to do this work. We want to clear the entire 2.3 acres and get it ready for farming.
When we receive money for this phase, we will be ready to break ground. We remain committed and steadfast in our mission. The dream of this farm is alive, and we believe it will flourish with your help.
We have been very busy developing our other NGO for much of this year. We are now ready to shift our attention to this project.
We kindly appeal to donors, supporters, and partners to join us in making this vision a reality. Together, we can transform lives and communities through agriculture.
Thank you.
