Dearest donors,
Happy holidays from our family to yours.
Thank you all for your support throughout the year, especially through our end-of-year giving campaigns! In the past quarter, your donations have allowed us to give microfinance loans to 125 additional women in Gulu and Pabbo. These women are inducted into the Uplift program after doing business courses with our staff and will recieve continued business guidance as they use their funds to grow and support both their local economies and their families. With an average family size of 9 people, these women's businesses are supporting thousands with things like school fees and medicine.
We raised almost $7,000 this year in total. If we continue at this rate, Hope Center Uganda will be 100% sustainable by the end of 2023. We are so excited for the day when we no longer rely on external donations to sustain our operating costs for our vocational education, women's health, and entrepreneurship program: thanks to you all, we are getting closer and closer every day! We would love to count on your continued support as we move towards this goal.
Best wishes from our Gulu families!
