The project will target to 200 orphans around the Sub-District of District Kurigram in Bangladesh. The children aged between 0-15 years those are living below the poverty line. We empower the orphans by working closely with various institutes. We will support orphans by providing them with good food, quality education, psycho-social support, health services ,cultural program and extra-curricular interventions for orphans. We reach out to children through a family-centered approach .
Kurigram D is one of the most poorest and densely populated places in the country with a population of 2 million. 30+% of this population are children aged between 0-15 years with a significant number living below the poverty line. A huge proportion of these children are orphaned and they have to earn money to support themselves and their families. Orphans and street children are often thrown in jail for petty crimes, or they are abused and subjected to the most atrocious violence.
Every child deserves to have a childhood filled with happy memories. We are seeking to build a scalable orphanage livelihood security and social safety net which will initially house 200 orphans. The project will provide food, cloths, health services and education. We will worked together and have devised solutions to aid them in the best possible way. The project will build a safe house for young children. Helping orphans lead a merrier life is what we aim for their path to a fulfilling life.
