For all of you who have donated to the Northern California wildfire, please be assured that your donation went to that effort. As of this report we have changed the title to California Wildfires, as we enter yet another drought ravaged season in California. There has been more rain than in the past years for California, but it will take a lot more to undue the dry areas that fuel a blaze. As you may have noticed a firestorm erupted in Kern County near Lake Isabella on Thursday evening which gave the residence no warning of its doom. Residence were lucky to have escaped with their lives and the clothes on their backs as it rapidly took 100 homes and left many more in jeapordy.
We would like to personally thank each of you that have donated to the fire assistance in Northern California and ask you to reach out to family and friends and social media here in California to continue to assist with the on going efforts to aid the survivors of these devastating fires.
Thank you for joining our family of humanitarians,
Schlene and all the Do Your Part, Staff
