As the drought areas in California continue to get drier Do Your Part is expanding their response efforts to reach all California's in need of assistance due to the outbreak of wildfires. Northern California is still in need as we just had 100 homes lost in a firestorm in Kern County near Bakersfield this will not be the last of these fires. Immediate assistance is needed and we need your help to respond and then continue into the long road to recovery.
Thousand of residents were forced to flee their homes in Northern California, as did the latest fire in Kern County that took 100 homes on June 23 & 24 as a firestorm raced through and gave no warning. Survivors need shelter, essentials, emotional assistance, insurance guidance, and help in bringing their lives back to sustainability. The loss of animal life is substantial both wild and pets, the surviving animals are also in need of love and care and reconnecting to their families.
These donations will provide immediate, and long term relief for families and animals affected by the fires. Do Your Part will be assisting with case management, along with efforts to cleanup, and rebuild.
Helping these families in rebuilding their homes, and cleaning up in areas where there was complete devastation, will help minimize long term impact.
