Summary

The 172-acre campus is home to more than 20+ labs, which ensure that there is a constant flurry of activity. About 600+ children visit the campus every day to learn in an experiential manner. The curriculum and events at the campus, like all of Agastya's programs, supplement the syllabus in schools and are bespoke to get children to experience the Aah! Aha! And Ha-ha! of hands-on education.

Challenge

The schooling system in India has produced education apathy and high out-of-school rates. Infrastructure, teaching facilities, and the use of technology that fosters child participation in experiential learning are nonexistent. Consequently, there is a mismatch between academic and professional success. Agastya observed the need for an experiential, hands-on, and child-centric teaching methodology and chose to address this critical constraint.

Solution

Digi-Kshetra is a cutting-edge digital experiential learning center designed to empower students with 21st-century digital skills and foster a passion for technology, creativity, and innovation. It's an initiative committed to nurturing & enhancing digital competency among underprivileged students, enabling them to explore & embrace the transformative potential of new-age technologies. It encompasses a progressive curriculum with interactive experiential learning environment.

Long-Term Impact

Hands-on STEM learning involves engaging students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through interactive, practical activities. Instead of learning passively, students get to experiment, build, create, and explore real-world problems, which helps deepen their understanding of concepts. This method encourages problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity
