Dear project supporters,
It gives me great joy to share this project report with you via Global giving on the progress of our project to educate and feed orphan girl child SHANMUGA........., Pattiveeranpatti village in India. Shanmuga......... has received supports to continue her education with good food and basic needs.
After her father died of HIV/AIDs and her mother died due to heart attack , she never thought that she would go to school. She was unsure of her childhood happiness. As her grandparents are old, they were not able to meet out her educational expenses and give her healthy food. Her grandparents’ poverty and social condition put her in traumatic condition. In such circumstances, the project team identified Shanmuga........... and approached her grandparent. The project team convinced her grandparents about the importance of education and its necessity for shaping her future. With the support of the sponsor, now she is doing 8th standard in N.S.V.V Girls Higher secondary school in Pattveeranpatti. She was provided money to get school materials, uniform ,pair of school shoes, food and medicine. She gets nutritious food daily. All her needs were fulfilled to continue her studies. Teachers in this school are showing attentive care to her which is an encouragement to her to attend school daily. With your generous financial support, she also joined the evening tuition centre to do her studies and home work. The tuition teacher is very friendly with her and helps her to improve her studies. She shows remarkable progress both in studies and extracurricular activities. She would come out with flying colours. Now she is very active in the sports and a good dancer too. Her favorite subject is Mathematics.
She expresses her heartfelt thanks to the sponsors. She gratefully remembers the sponsors for anchoring her life with financial and mental support. She wants to continue her studies for a bright future. She is expecting that her sponsors would help her in realizing her dreams. Her grandparents are also happy that Shanmuga....... is studying well than what they had expected.
Thank you,
With Regards,
Project Leader,
