This project seeks to support 100 small farmers from rural municipalities of Bogota affected by the winter wave by providing technical support to recover and sale their crops. With this support, farmers would improve their economic and nutritional means, while at the same time reducing agricultural waste surpluses.
-63% of the small farmers have been affected by the winter wave by losing their crops, homes and relatives. -48% of the small access roads were local farmers use for their crops transportation are damage or blocked. -70% of the small farmers affected have lost almost 40% of their crops which affects financial support to their families. -98% of the small farmers affected have unsatisfied basic needs. -100% of the children of the small farmers are not able to go to school under this condition.
Provide countryside assistance: -Provision of work tools and transportation support to sale their crops. -Support in the commercialization of their crops through regional or local markets. Promote food security and other communitarian means by: -Deliver food baskets -Pedagogical training in nutrition. - Provide consumer goods for schools, health centers and infrastructure.
-87% of small farmers reduce crop wastage by selling their production. -85% of the small farmers have financial support for their families. -At least 6 communities receive consumer goods for schools, health centers and infrastructure in order to restart activities. -100% of the beneficiaries receive at least 3 food baskets in order to support their nutrition and well-being.
